A brief, 400-word article for Grapevine Today, the magazine of the Grapevine, Texas, Convention and Visitors Bureau.

DIGIKIDS — Fort Worth, TX
Copy for a brochure describing the DIGIKIDS child safety ID system.

EWD Solutions, Inc. — Carrollton, TX
Proofed and edited a 300+ page catalog for this supplier of parts and accessories to the electronics industry.

Kysor Panel Systems — Fort Worth, TX
News release and web site copy describing industry solutions for this supplier of walk-in coolers and freezers to the supermarket, convenience store, food service and other industries.

Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. — Arlington, TX
Introductory copy for brochure describing this manufacturer's shaftless screw conveyor systems.

Metro Praise Orchestra — Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
Copy and design for web site, compact disc cover and CD insert.

Perot Systems Corporation — Plano, TX
In April 2004 I began a redevelopment of the web site of Perot Systems, a global IT services company. After re-launching in December 2004, I maintained the site's architecture, design and content as writer/editor and content manager for an additional 15 months. I also wrote more than 35 pieces of marketing collateral — brochures, fact sheets and success stories — for Perot Systems, as well as a number of ads, HTML mail and other communications.

Protection Engineering Consultants LLC — Spring Branch, TX
Copy and design for professional development course brochure, company web site, business identity components (logo, business cards); company fact sheet.

Public Strategies, Inc. — Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
Copy for a 24-page brochure for CHRISTUS Health, describing the health care system's successes in advocacy and public policy influence.

SEES Consultants — Grand Prairie, TX
A sales letter and brochure copy and design for SEES, a workplace safety consulting and training firm.

Sportsmith — Tulsa, OK
I've written numerous online catalog descriptons, as well as this customer welcome letter and news release for Sportsmith, a leading supplier of health and fitness equipment parts and accessories.

Texas Health Resources — Arlington, TX
Copy for two internal communications brochures — the first providing an overview of the health system's Community Health department, the second describing the system's community health initiative, "Reach Out THR."

Other
The clients and samples above represent some of the work I've done since 2004. In addition, I've previously worked with the following companies as well as a variety of small businesses and other organizations.

• Internet America — Wrote a series of informational articles for
this internet service provider
• The Bombay Company — Edited a 700-page store operations
manual; edited assembly instructions for RTA furniture.
• Michaels Stores — Wrote newspaper and magazine ads, point-of-
purchase materials and copywriting style guide; served as interim
copy director.
• RadioShack — Wrote virtually every type of advertising/marketing
material during a seven-year tenure at RadioShack, where I started
my copywriting career — run-of-press ads, point-of-purchase
materials, newspaper inserts, sale flyers, catalogs, national print ads, radio spots, direct-mail credit offers, feature articles for internal
communications, and more; earned Fort Worth ADDY awards for
magazine ad copy and other collateral.
